Well I figured sooner or later if I had a website I'd be targeted by internet criminals..

I received this submission to my contact page:

"Subject: Regarding Your Portfolio

Contact Name: Bonnie Maffei

Contact Email: artistbonniemaffei@yahoo.com Contact Title: Developer

Message: Hello Don,

Just wondering if you've decided to produce "Edie Plus Rex", the one page short script you requested and I sent to you several weeks ago? You saw it on Inktip.com.

I am not a user or member of anything called inktip.com and I am not soliciting or producing anything like this and wouldn't be interested in doing so. It's obvious that someone is attempting to impersonate me, on this other site or I am being directed to think so. This very much concerned me, so I immediately contacted the FBI's online internet crime reporting agency, the INTERNET CRIME COMPLAINT CENTER. Further investigation shows that Bonnie Maffei doesn't have a real existing phone number, outside of a CEL phone which I won't call. The web page thrown up seems not to be genuine for this "supposed" person.

I highly suspect neither organization is real, and I reported this also to inktip.com as well, letting them know someone is online attempting to impersonate me..

If you get something like this, JUST DONT RESPOND TO IT AT ALL. Contact the FBI's internet crime complaint center as I did.

I  believe the perpetrator of this HOAX is trying to HOOK you into their scam at every turn.. I can't get any proof any of these people really exist, and they seem to be linked to other sites that don't exist.. My next bit of business is to inform Yahoo that someone is using their free email for this scam..
